Why Roberts Roots?

From the Mountain to Your Cup
Every cup of Roberts Roots coffee begins thousands of feet above sea level, on hillside farms in Colombia, Honduras, and Guatemala — and goes through years of relationships and an uncompromising process before it reaches your door.
Land
Where It Grows Matters
We source exclusively from high-altitude farms in Central and South America. Mountain-grown at elevation, in rich soil and natural shade — conditions that naturally reduce acidity and produce a smoother, fuller-bodied cup.
Harvest
Handpicked, Every Time
No machines. No shortcuts. Our farmers make three to four passes through their fields each season, selecting only the ripest cherries at peak flavor. It's why the coffee tastes the way it does.
process
Washed, Sorted, and Graded
After harvesting, beans go through a careful water-based process, dried naturally for up to three weeks, then sorted by machine and again by hand. We only purchase the top premium grade — the kind that rarely leaves the country of origin.
Roast
Fresh When You Order It
Every order is roasted to our exact standards the day it ships. We don't hold pre-roasted bags sitting in warehouses for months. We dial in temperature, speed, and timing for each origin. Nothing is rushed. Your coffee is just-roasted, packed sealed, and shipped within days of coming off the roaster — not sitting in a warehouse for months.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is your coffee less acidic than what I find in stores?
Our beans are shade-grown on the side of Latin American mountains. They mature slowly under shade and that naturally keeps acid in check. Most folks tell us it's the smoothest cup they've had without the stomach burn.
Do you offer whole bean and ground options?
Yes — you can choose whole bean or ground at checkout. Either way, what arrives at your door is the same premium grade coffee, roasted fresh for your order.
Where does your coffee come from?
All our beans are sourced from high-altitude hillside farms in Colombia, Honduras, and Guatemala — regions known for producing naturally smooth, low-acid coffee.
Is your coffee roasted fresh?
Yes. Every bag is just-roasted to our exact standards and ships within days. We don't hold pre-roasted bags sitting in warehouses for months.
